  • Who is Kelly Cherry?

Kelly was born of circus folk who wanted something more for their child - they had tried before but the results were disappointing. Through a long and drawn-out campaign that involved much travel and vetting, Kelly was adopted into a family of means. It was here that she had education, she had opportunities and she had a future. Morals were fair and fact, and science… were ever present.

Kelly had been told that her father was a famous singer called Marilyn and her mother, a much sought after tattooist named Chastity.

    Neither of course was true.

Her new father liked to joke that she was raised by wolves… this wasn’t true either.

Kelly was educated by her new family to be a woman of strength and of purpose but, she was also drawn towards a life of… exploration. She was warned of the dangers that constructs such as awareness might bring but was powerless to stop the invisible hand that guided her on those nights of discovery.

Eventually - as is often the case with curiosities - the wolves began to circle, telling her they were the real thing, teaching her new tricks and convincing her that she needed… them. Kelly was left empty and broken, her depth and understanding, her… awareness… ignored and then destroyed. She had been warned.

But she emerged. She rose from the chaos, from the constraints of “that” society to become a woman of intellect and education, of respect and admiration and a woman… of hedonistic desire.
